Hello,dear people, I am so sorry for my lack of interest on the blog lately , but I really had to study for the contest I'm going to this week : English Nationals. I'm leaving tomorrow for Iasi. I can't wait!! I promise tons of photos from there and from my birthday party too.

Also, I've taken down the "comment challenge" column because I don't really have the time this month to complete it , so I will start it again for February.

Great news ! I am giving an interview to Diva Hair for an article on blogger opinions in fashion. I am so excited ! I can't wait to show it to you. And to celebrate , I took some photos of a black outfit and mixed it with 2 different sets of accesories , just to highlight how accesories can alter a look.

Back in time

Happy birthday to me! I just got 17 on Friday and I am extremely happy .And because I feel a little awkward not being 16 anymore, I decided to throw in some photos of my looks and stuff from over the years.

This is from the summer of 2008 and it was shot during a party with a dear friend of mine from Italy.

Eat ,pray ,love

I am a very big fan of reading : not a day passes by without me reading atleast a chapter of a book . I've tried them all : fiction and non fiction , science fiction, romance,comedy ,drama,tragedy. Name it and I've read it. I had dates with some of the worse books ever written ,but that hasn't discouraged me so far. The last book I read was the New York Times bestseller : Eat,pray,love by Elizabeth Gilbert ( photo from here ).
I initially bought it as a gift for a friend, but then ended buying a copy of my own. And it was a really great decision ,because the book is great.

The story follows Elizabeth on her journey to find balance after a nasty divorce. It can get really captivating , not only because the beginning of the story might be similar to so many women , but because Elizabeth's writing style is very catchy and gets you really involved. I never had the urge to get to Italy , but while reading her book , I decided that if I won;t see Italy I'm the biggest loser and if I don;t learn Italian I'm nothing. Just because she was so into this sort of stuff made me want to do the same things. It's a really special thing for a writer to be able to do that : it means he or she has a huge talent.
I recommend it with all my heart,because it is a story of true self love and will guide you into taking decisions that are good for you ,not only for everybody else. And you can also learn some meditation techniques and mantras to help you cleanse your spirit.
Hope my little review made this book enticing to you. Can't wait for some oppinions.

Welcome ,2011 ! It's so nice you're here.
So we've left another year behind us ,another year full of joy,of happiness and accomplishments , full of sad moments and low times over which we've successfully passed. It's a new year and we're spending it together! I hope you're gonna be as happy as I was on New Year's Eve ,because you know, what happens on NYE will happen all year long : if you have money on you,you'll have money the whole year, if you are happy,you'll be happy the entire year. And I must say that my NYE was really good.
