The limit of adulthood

Photobucket

I give a special significance to dates and events and this year was not an exception. On the most perfect 21st of January, this year, I turned 18, embracing therefore, the first step into adulthood.
I had given it a lot of thought, but never did I think it would really change my perspective on life. Becoming able to vote has given me another sense of responsability and of understanding of my mistakes.
But as life goes, I have not become of an age that inabilitates me to make mistakes, nor to try making any, but to realise that making mistakes is a way to learn.
In another manner of thought, by realising something like this can be dangerous, but even the mistakes I make during typing or while I was dancing at my party have, in spite of me being aware of it or not, an effect of present and future me.
Needless to say, even though I am an adult now and my state trusts my capacities of drinking, driving and voting( therefore deciding in one way or another, my country's fate), I am still a child, a lover of the arts and a dedicate fashion blogger, desperately trying to prove myself in the world I live in and insisting on sharing my ideas and rambling to anyone, even more to those that are there to hear.

I wish for a better me to come with the new stage on which I have embarked and that what matters to me most to stay with me for the rest of my life.

Winter Fairytale - EYP part 2

Photobucket

So that was that about the first part of our stay in Bansko : the teambuilding games, the party with the girls, the XL cocktail and all the fun and love I share with my best friends from all over the country!
But then there's day 2, which came along with the first training: the CHAIR training, succesfully led by Ana and Tudoran.
And in the end, there was a really white night, covered in stories of past sessions and hopes for the future ones.

Winter Fairytale - Bansko part 1

Photobucket

Hello, there! Here I am, back to a hectic new school semester, struggling to get some grades and longing for the awesome winter holidays that have just passed and my 18th birthday party, which was a blast ( and I am currently waiting for the photos).
The past week I was in the ski paradise of Bansko for the European Youth Parliament's Winter Training. It was a training to become officials in the EYP and at the same time, the most amazing winter holiday.

First of all, we got free drinks at a local pub, then we threw a mini-surprise party for URS ( he turned 19), then we went to a very nice bar, where a live band played really cool old-school rock music.

SOPA and PIPA

I have just returned from an amazing trip in the Pirinei mountains and I am currently trying to sleep off the exhaustion and plan some new posts, including all the great photos I took over there.
But as I was planning how to share the photos, I took a break to read IFB's latest articles and this particular title made me tremble : "How will SOPA/PIPA affect you fashion blog". I had already found out about the bill, but it hadn't quite struck me until this particular article.
What made me even more angry was the fact that, when I decided to join the petition (which I encourage you to sign right here), I couldn't. Why? Well, because they did not accept my zip code. And that because I am not currently residing in the USA.
Is that fair? I don't think so. You cannot issue a law that will affect the good function of the internet, not in a society where absolutely everything is based on the internet!
So go read IFB's article here and let's turn this around.

I love my blog and I want to keep the world it belongs to intact!

New beginnings and fresh starts

Photobucket

It's been exactly a month since my last post and I must say that, even though this pause hadn't been planned, it came pretty much in handy! I've realised what I want from my blog and where I want to take it.
Besides that, it's been a heck of a holiday, with the most amazing Christmas and the most wicked New Year's Eve. I hope you all the best wishes for this new year and hope to grow along with all of you and meet as many wonderful people as I can.
I leave you with the photos I have from NYE and hope to get the ones from Christmas soon enough!
