Wien Schnitzel

When you find something that you like, nothing seems too hard. So have I realised that I adore being a journalist. Writing articles, taking interviews and smiling to people is like heaven for me. This is how I am now capable to write from Vienna, Austria, where I am as a journalist for the European Youth Parliament. From under piles of quirky answers, information that is to be added into articles and lots of video frames that need to find their way into a cute advertisement, I still have the desire to dress up and look sharp, mostly because I feel like it, not because I have to.
More amazing stories are yet to come and I am now looking forward to sharing them with you.

I'm taking you to Istanbul

There are some memories which you extremely cherrish. And then there are those that you don't regret, but nevermind if forget. And last but not least, there are those which you don't know how you feel like about.
This is how I feel about one of my most recent experiences : the International Session of the EYP. A top class session, where the best get selected : a dream come true, right?
Memories that will never cease to make me cry at the taught of the 10 great days I spent with some of my best friends surely surpass any problems that we have encountered.

Part 2, tomorrow.

Organising M1

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away
And so you realise how much you've enjoyed your past few weeks, when you figure out you're already crying because they aren't here anymore. You might have noticed my prolongued absence from my blog, but I have good reasons to request forgiveness. As I have stated in my last post, I have been away on a couple of projects, such as EYP's Regional Selection Session Muntenia 1 and Istanbul '12 International Session, not to mention the National English Olympics 2012.
Pictures have been taken, friendships created and memories made.
The first part of a long series of passed and upcoming events was the regional session where, together with two girls I now like to consider friends, we organised the session. Coffee breaks might have brought the worse in us and my oversized luggage might have proved futile, but the experience was one that I will always cherrish.
Not to mention the humongous quantities of coffee, cola and chocolate ingested.
I still miss those 4 days spent in the mountains, where hunger was not an issue, but giving the wake up call with a wooden spoon was a hard to pass challenge.
Also, excuses for the not so glamorous outfits : an organiser is expected to be efficient, not luxurious.
