It's been around a month since we left Timisoara and together with it this year's West Summer University. The reason I'm posting it now, while on another project (this time a session of the EYP), is that I miss those lazy uniersity days. I felt exactly like a student with one bathroom on each floor, extremely small and old rooms, little money and too much to buy. Saddly, the college I was in didn't have too many courses, which really brought me down a bit, but thank God for my amazing friends that made the whole stay worthwhile.
Talking about my college, I was first accepted at the Arts and Design Faculty of West University Timisoara, but then I was switched to the Faculty of Political Sciences, Philosophy and Communication where I met the most incredible people from the West of my country. Our coordinators were 3 lovely ladies and a rather quirky gentleman who is now studying in Glasgow. Deni and Amy were incredibly odd at first sight and I can't say I was amused by the idea that they would coordinate me. But then it all came together and we were the loudest, funnest and never bored team.
On the more fun side ( though all of them were a blast!), we had some rather intriguingly themed parties: Spartans and Amazons, Disney Party and Transvesti party. For the Disney Party, I got to be Lola Rabbit, as all the other redhead ideas were taken. For the transvesti one, on the other hand, I got the chance to do the make-up of 2 guys, transforming them into the prettiest girls out there. The good part? I got so many make-up requests from all the girls of the session after they saw the guys.
All in all, I have already started counting the months until next summer's edition :)
