New Year's Eve hot pieces

The Shoependant
We're almost out of 2012 and into 2013. It's been a year full of memories and a lot of new friendships, oportunties and so many more. But what's a great year without a great ending? I am talking, of course, about the New Year's Eve party! No matter where you choose to celebrate, be it at home with your boyfriend, with some friends at their place, in a restaurant or maybe in a casino, don't forget to shine and be fabulous! This is the time when you can go a little bit over the tap, use those feather fake eyelashes, take out your glitter eyeliner and 6 inch heels. This is the time when you are allowed to indulge yourself in dressing up like in your favorite magazine editorial.
Bearing this in mind, I compiled 5 sets of outfits for the red carpet Diva, for the true fashionista (although she needs no indication of what to wear), the delicate ingenuous female, the womanly rock muse, that individual that consists of a walking enigma and, of course, the perfect outfit for The Shoependant!

Enjoy.

The Shoependant Top Shop , Therapy , MAJE , Alexander McQueen

For the quiet girls, the ones that love pastels and like to feel as womanly as possible, pastels and golden baroque are the best choice. The flowery pattern on the trousers transforms them into a very girly element and the crocheted necklace is simply stunning. Mix with the golden skulls of the Alexander McQueen and you have a die-for outfit perfect for this year's party.

The Shoependant Alexander Wang , HAKAAN , Miu Miu , Burberry

A diva will be forever stunning, be it with a fur coat or with an extravagant red dress. This year, I'd love to see a diva in a short Hakaan dress, with shoulder pads, that gives the one who'd wear it a very royal aspect. The pointy toe shoes are also very empowering, but bear in mind: the ankle strap is only for the beautiful legged. Go simple with little accesories and a statement bag.

The Shoependant Top Shop, Givenchy, Erickson Beamon

Being one of the women that inspire creation, especially a dark and mysterious genre such as rock, one should never lose appeal. The Top Shop suede leggings are a perfect piece to highlight a pair of long legs, and the golden pearls on them suggest royalty. The necklace, on the other hand, shows a more wild side, while the shoes keep everything grounded. The perfect mix of down to earth and up in the sky. Pair with a white blouse for a cleaner look, black for some appeal and red for the more daring of you.

The Shoependant Dolce & Gabbana , Stella McCartney , Preen

A fashionista doesn't need anyone to teach her how to properly showcase her figure for such an important and extravagant night as New Year's Eve, but once in a while, even the most avid passionates check the world wide web for some inspiration. For me, the concept of a "fashionista" is someone who can mix anything with anything (literally!) and make it look stunning. My favorite trend is, obviously, the mix and match one. The Dolce & Gabbana shoes are to die for also!

The Shoependant Mary Katrantzou, Chloe , Valentino

For me, I'd surely go for something simple, but yet very opulent. I adore huge jewelry and statement, so the Chloe shoes are, obviously, the choice I'd go for. Also, the shape of the skirt would emphasize my waist while drawing attention away from my... other parts. Add the holographic print and you're done!
