The animal within

The Shoe Pendant
Like I was saying in yesterday's post, I reserve my winter for some bohemian outer wear and classy accessories. However, this doesn't prevent me from dressing down underneath it. This time, I decided to rock my leopard print tights I got a couple of years ago from a thrift store and my studded Pimkie boots. Also, I finally took out of the closet my leather shorts (last time I wore them was for another outfit post)!
Nevertheless, I froze during the taking of these pictures and you can easily see how I got distracted by the beautiful background I chose for the shooting.

Winter Baroque

The Shoe Pendant

Oh, the joyful feeling winter brings! The snow falling like an assorted melody, children making angels in the snow, Christmas, New Year's Eve, white nights. Sadly enough, it seems like they've all passed and that we're stuck in a meadow of mud and dead flora. I'm confident that by my birthday we're going to be back in a winter wonderland, but by then, I'm fueling myself through mocking the reminiscent dirt with my sunny pictures. Not recently did I realize there were so many wonderfully painted places in my town, but I am only now treating them as they should be.

In addition to that, here's my typical outerwear for the winter. Living in a country that has very high temperatures in summer and very cold in winter, I can allow myself to adopt two different personalities. In summer, I am cheery/chirk/debonair, whilst in winter, I adopt a more bohemian look, with baroque prints (thank God for this year's trends), suede and dark colors.

I'll leave you to enjoy the ultimate winter accesory: the (suede)headband. Also, keep your fingers crossed as I just submitted this post for IFB's Project #78: Winter Accessory Essentials
