Go to Skirt Bike 2012

Photobucket

Dear girly bikers, you are all invited to SkirtBike Bucharest, on the 26th of May, around 16:30 in Circus Park. Bring your flowery garments, be chic, wear a dress or a skirt, heels or flats, a hat, maybe a scarf. Get flowers braided through your hair and don't leave your bike unadorned either. You must show that your bikes do make you beautiful.
Itinerary
Aleea Circului – Șos. Stefan cel Mare – Calea Dorobanților – Piaţa Charles de Gaulle – Bd. Aviatorilor, until Herăstrău,  Pescăruș Entrance (șoseaua Nordului).

Afterwards, stay for some tea and stories on the grazing at Roaba de Cultura, where Green Revolution will be delighting with a concert.
For all those that are interested and able to show up (as I cannot and I am deeply sad with the idea), here are some pictures that would have inspired me even further , as the concept is very dear to me, since my childhood passion has been riding my bicycle up and down the hills of my grandmother's village.

Bold in Versace

Photobucket

As a general rule, I do not shuffle through fashion websites (except blogs, ofcourse) and I do not watch fashion shows online. My inspiration comes to me from the latest movie I have seen or from a flower that caught my eye on the street while heading to a certain boring activity. But these days, while being bored by a slashing quantity of study material, I started surfing the web in search for the Spring-Summer 2012 trends. And where else to end up if not on vogue.co.uk? On a more obvious level, the part that most attracted me was the Haute Couture section. And there, among many many wonderful collections, I spotted the brave Versace and On Aura Tout Vu, laying there, with their amazing prints and decadent transparency.
For me, this season combines my favourite styles : either bold, or very calm, I will never have enough transparent items in my wardrobe and my soul. Or lace for that matter.
In my mind, the items present in these two collections are the perfect display of the modern woman, willing to do anything and able to do everything her heart desires.
For Versace, the woman has to have a long, sleek figure, endless some might say, and to be able to shine in any of the colors of the rainbow.
For On Aura Tout Vu, it's all about the fiery passion a woman is endowed with. And the love for her own body.
