Dream Trip

Photobucket

Waking up on a Saturday morning at 7 a.m.? Then going to school? For some, it might sound like a nightmare, but for me... for me it meant travelling to some of my favourite European countries. An amazing trip, filled with dozens of oportunities of sweet memory making, laughters and delight. A culinary trip, that is! My highschool celebrated today the International Day of Plurilinguism which happened, actually, on the 26th of September. I was in charge of organising the event and I must say it turned out incredibly well. People got to sing in a quite unique spontaneous talent show, rocked some famous tunes in karaoke and, not to mention, ate to the verge of meltdown. The foods were very well prepared, lovely presented and their tastes shall not be soon forgotten. I got to cook for my love-country, United Kingdom and I chose for the ocasion Butterscotch, Peppermint Creams and Apple Crumble (they turned out quite ok, considering the night me and The Beau spent working on them).
Also, I got the oportunity to sport out some of my newest acquisitions: a lovely silk H&M sleeveless shirt, a Moschino-inspired New Yorker belt and, what freshly came in the mail yesterday, one of my Shine bracelets! I felt so chic and comfy in the outfit I eventually wore!

Get the London look

Photobucket

Since the weather outside is dreadfully hot and I have locked myself in with air conditioning and closed curtains. Therefore, I can now dip in the gravy and ween on so many goodies that you can find online. My biggest passion at the moment is surfing Lyst and creating collections. Also, while surfing the numerous pages that open in a way similar to a waterfall, I found this great new Bershka collection, which is London, or actually, Union Jack, inspired.
The unique print of the United Kingdom's flag has been my go-to print for anything for ages now and now it became a great opportunity to showcase some of the items on my "Get the London look" wishlist.
Also, check out the other inspirational pieces on my "Union Jack" Lyst here :)

Milestones

Photobucket

“A milestone passed, new things begun, dreams as shining as the sun, a goal achieved, a victory won!
This is what probably describes best my feelings at the moment. I am proud to announce my first glory in fashion-blogging matters: I have succeeded in posting for 100 times!
My tendency to keep things going is usually not so rewarding, since it doesn't quite exist, but this time, I am proud I have stuck with my passion for fashion long enough to reach this milestone.
And to celebrate,I decided to create one of my most quirky outfits: mixing animal print with leather shorts and knitter sweaters might not seem my usual go-to dress-up, but it certainly has a special relationship with my soul. Sparkly clutches have a way of saying "Heya, handsome!" to old, worn-out UGG boots like not other.
Embellished duck rings and knitted leather bracelets are funky and make my hands smile, if not for the chipped off metallic blue nailpolish on my fingernails .
All in all, what I wish for from now on is that I reach my 1000th post milestone, my 100000th and so on. I wish for my little baby to prosper into a world where mixing my heart with my closet is not only tricky, but amazing.
