Your average day

Sometimes, it rains. Sometimes, it rains a lot. Sometimes, this happens in my little town, thus making me completely unable to shoot any kind of outdoor photo (for days). Today, however, I received a lovely gift from Prince Charming, a new camera lens, and I simply had to test it. I'm sure I'm not even close to understanding how it really works, but I thought that my today outfit, which is something I usually go to when going to school,was good enough to honor the new tech acquisition.

I really hope the sun is going to lighten us up with its presence (see what I did there?) and I'm going to be able to shoot some of the outfits that have been wandering around my mind for weeks now!

Lazy Saturday

It's cold outside, but I'm hot inside. Meaning I haven't left my comfy PJs yet and I'm indulging in some hot coffee, while doing some weekend reading. I haven't quite had any time to relax this week, even if I'm enjoying a very long holiday, so this Saturday afternoon is probably going to be the victim of manichure tryouts and Skype conversations. As for the outfit I'm presenting you, is something I captured in pictures yesterday. I'm very sorry I hadn't got the idea of taking the pics earlier, because, as you can see, the light isn't very helpful in surprising the details.
I chose to wear the garter tights because I somtimes crave for a little sexy and I guess that in the middle of the winter, this is probably the best way to give a hint of hotness ^_^ . As for the rest, I wore knit on knit, the perfect combo for hitting the snow, accesorised with some golden accesories.
Another thing I really want to talk about is the background. Though it might not seem a fabulous choice, it's my favorite decor. Don't ask me why, I still haven't figured it out!

Meet Prince Charming

Anniversaries are always awesome and they are even more awesome when you celebrate with people you love. This weekend was an absolutely fabulous one, mostly because I felt happier than ever. On Friday I left for Bucharest to meet up with some old friends and Prince Charming. We went to Shakespeare Pub and enjoyed some good laughters. On Saturday, on the other hand, we went shopping to spend the voucher I won at The Vanity Cover's TEX giveaway. The lovely part? They had 50% off on all clothing items and 40% on toys, so we splurged! I got a lot of lovely items (which you will surely see in a future posts) and some toys, trying to relive our childhood! I got a Barbie doll from the I Can Be collection and Prince Charming chose a Storm Trooper mask. Underneath, you can see him with some of the gifts I got him for his birthday: Marvel characters.
But aside from the discounts we had or the vouchers we used, it felt really good to simply spend time together, as he is such an important person to me. He's an incredibly sweet man, a simply amazing boyfriend who carried my bags all the way through 3 shopping centers, who never lets me pay a dime for dinner and who always keeps my door open for me, a man that still plays with action figures and who understands that Barbie dolls and politics are equally important to me!
