Simona Semen Pre-fall 2013

Every time I check my e-mail in the afternoon, I find a newsletter from my favorite shop, some news from another and occasionally, a new collection brought up from some of the best designers. I adore surfing their look books, imagining how I would wear and pair them. This morning, one of these not so rare events happened: I got a little announcement about Simona Semen's first Pre-fall collection. Since many of you know how much I love her creations ( you can see last year's fall collection here), this one came just perfectly, as it is one of my favorite so far!

I adored ( and currently adore) the peplum trend, but Simona's creations are as structured as they are fluid and romantic. They are made with carefully controlled volume, textured insertions and extremely interesting fabric mix and matching. The patterns she used are so urban chic and also luxurious.

My favorite piece so far is the blouse/skirt. I love how the lower part of the top is a little bit peplum-like, but the many layers make it look like a flower in spring. I cannot wait to see it in her online store! Maybe it will be my first designer investment!

Bearing in my last post, I am now here to talk in more detail about some of the designers that showcased their truly amazing creations on the stage of Avanpremiere 11. First on to talk about is the first one that was presented on the runway:

E.Thula lansează prima sa colecție:

“Celebration of Summer and Happiness”

Pregatirile sunt pe ultima suta de metri pentru lansarea primei colectii de moda a tanarului designer roman, Sorina Banica, miercuri, 04 iulie 2012, deasupra Bucurestiului, in spatiul unic oferit de Penthouse Gallery. Invitatii sunt asteptati sa soseasca incepand cu ora 19.30 la party-ul inspirat din American Teen-Age party din anii ‘90, prezentarea colectiei incepand la ora 20.30.

Colectia - Celebration of Summer and Happiness -contine 9 piese si este bazata pe reflexii, transparente, luciuri si se adreseaza femeilor cu varsta cuprinsa intre 18 si 35 de ani, puternice, dinamice, vesele, al caror stil nu inseamna doar rochii dragute si o accesorizare corecta, ci gasesc placere in a se juca cu hainele lor, in a se imbraca cu dorintele si trairile lor, astfel incat sa-si ofere mici momente de fericire.

Evenimentul - Colour Infusion - de lansare a colectiei sub brandul E.Thula, va sfida prezentarile de moda clasice, sobre si rigide si va invita sa va bucurati de un eveniment creat pentru a va face pur si simplu sa va simtiti bine. Va veti putea delecta cu savuroasele, dar perfect sanatoasele cupcakes de la Stephany’s si bea o cafea buna de la Nespresso – gratie Brands International.

Magical Shoes for Holiday Magic

Bohemian crystal… Candles in silver lampstands and the noise of the rain… Gingerbread,

colored icing and cinnamon… Everything is ready, the guests should arrive shortly… But first,

he will arrive… The impatience and excitement refresh her face…

Everything will change in a few moments, the house will be flooded with light and guests,

Asteptare… Liniste… Fosnetul vântului în colturile ferestrelor… Portelan englezesc si cristal de

Boemia… Lumânări în sfesnice de argint si zgomot de ploaie… Turtă dulce, glazură colorată si

scoryisoară… Totul este pregătit, invitatii trebuie să sosească… Dar întâi va veni el…

Nerăbdarea si emotia îi împrospătează chipul…

Totul se va schimba în câteva momente, casa va fi inundata de lumina si invitati, coliere

pretioase vor străluci în vise de cristal. El îi va sta alături si vor pluti, împreuna, prin aerul de

sărbătoare. Picături de muzica încep sa înveselească atmosfera, luminile se aprind în casa

mare… Totul începe să strălucească usor pentru a se asorta cu ochii ei… Mai e putin.

Începe să viseze la zilele pline de magie care urmează. Încaltă pantofii bijuterie când aude pasi

pe scări…. A venit el!
