 I am not perfect, nor do I try to be. I cannot characterise myself through a long line of words, passions or loves. I cannot be described by anyone, nor can try to compose a good visual image of myself. I am happy. I am a happy person and that is probably what can delineate my entire personality. 

I guide myself through the path of my life enjoying the beauty of it and trying to produce beauty. My sole concern is that of creating beauty. I am happy when I create. I simply create.

This is something that also defines my style, my fashion sense and my endless dwellings on monumental quantities of priceless (and overly expensive) clothes and shoes and jewellry.  

I choose to live under the permanent decision between being happy or not being happy, but I will never cease to mold my life around the wish of being happy, whatever that may mean.

The limit of adulthood

I give a special significance to dates and events and this year was not an exception. On the most perfect 21st of January, this year, I turned 18, embracing therefore, the first step into adulthood.
I had given it a lot of thought, but never did I think it would really change my perspective on life. Becoming able to vote has given me another sense of responsability and of understanding of my mistakes.
But as life goes, I have not become of an age that inabilitates me to make mistakes, nor to try making any, but to realise that making mistakes is a way to learn.
In another manner of thought, by realising something like this can be dangerous, but even the mistakes I make during typing or while I was dancing at my party have, in spite of me being aware of it or not, an effect of present and future me.
Needless to say, even though I am an adult now and my state trusts my capacities of drinking, driving and voting( therefore deciding in one way or another, my country's fate), I am still a child, a lover of the arts and a dedicate fashion blogger, desperately trying to prove myself in the world I live in and insisting on sharing my ideas and rambling to anyone, even more to those that are there to hear.

I wish for a better me to come with the new stage on which I have embarked and that what matters to me most to stay with me for the rest of my life.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Shoe Pendant! It's officially 1 year since I started the blog and well, our relationship is moving on better than ever. And since we didn't start out officially, I chose its birthday date to be the 6th of November, same as my best friend's birthday (Happy birthday,babe!!) . And, I'm not keeping you longer : I've got some surprises prepared for this week and I'm now leaving you with some photos from the past years, nt only the year I've been blogging, because I've realised my blog is the true expression of what I really am.

La multi ani, Shoe Pendant! E oficial 1 an de cand am inceput blogul si, ei bine, relatia noastra merge foarte bine! Si cum n-am iesit la lumina din prima, am ales ca data la care il sarbatorim sa fie 6 noiembrie, aceeasi zi ca ziua de nastere a prietenului meu cel mai bun (La multi ani, copile!). Si nu va mai tin : am cateva surprize pentru voi saptamana asta si va las cu niste poze din ultimii ani, nu numai din ultimul, pentru ca blogul meu a devenit o expresia a tot ceea ce sunt si am fost eu.

Taking a small break from my list of EYP regarding posts, I'll let you in on my weekend in Bucharest with my two friends , Perry and Merry :)
We went out on a girls night out and stayed in on a girls night in . And we had tons of fun : we gossiped ,laughed and chatted all the night . Or maybe not ,since I fell asleep at 1 a.m.

Eyp's Balkans Exchange Forum 2011 - part 1

Do you ever have a depression after coming home from a trip ? I always do. And it's as severe as the fun I had during the time I was away.
This is what I now call "P.E.D." and stands for Post Eyp Depression (eyp = european youth parliament) .
We spent the first 5 days in Albena and the next 5 in Eforie Nord , close to the Romanian city of Constanta.
We first had a lot of team-building sessions and parties, such as the White Party and Rubik Party,where you were supposed to dress in the 6 colors of the rubik cube .
We also had sports contests and various intercultural activities.
Just as a thing . Someone said about Romanians that they are dark-tone skinned and have a lot of hair ,including the facial type. No,guys,they are not ! Romanian girls are among the most beautiful girls around the world. Don't think of every Romanian girl as me,but believe me, they are amazing !

These are photos from our first and second day , including The Village (an event where people from different countries show their customs while wearing traditional costumes and do different traditional costumes). We ,from Muntenia, had some cute make-ups representing the colors of our flag.

I'm back !

Hey,guys ! Summer's great !

But I want,first of all, to apologize for not posting in the past few weeks. I have been away for most of the time and since I came back, I've been doing paperwork and working out and tons of other boring stuff so I haven't been able to update.

Second , I got this cute email from Maxence that invited me to join So Stylish , a platform for outfit posting, something like lookbook. I've joined this morning and I can feel the fashion vibe already !

And last,but not least, for these amazing Romanian fashionistas , New Look is coming to town ! The big opening will be on the 26th of August at Afi Palace Cotroceni , then on the 1st of September in Baneasa Shopping City.
Prices will be amazing : they start form 89 RON for dresses, 49 RON for Jeans and 89 RON for jackets ! Plus,they promise up to 200 new clothing articles each week !

Oh,not to forget ! I have tons of photos to share with you , not only from my trip, but also my latest photo shoot with my new look <3

Rain,rain go away ! Come again another day !

Do you know how dreadful it is sometimes,when the weather outside it's the same with your inside ? It's one moment extremely sunny and the next thing your peace is shattered by ugly clouds ? I think it's because we usually are so vulnerable and fear the possibility of showing strength,because it might weak in front of ourselves.
But now, I feel like I'm strong enough to be strong in front of myself too.

P.S. : My blog posts are becoming a little melodramatic. I'll try to change that sometimes soon. Till then , the rain outside stopped and the sun is just rising

Isn't it such a nice time ? Easter time ? It's so warm and the warmth gets deep inside your soul and cleanses it . We're better and love each other more this time of the year.

This Easter , I ate as much as I could (I don't normally do that) and went clubbing all night long with my friend, Maria .

Back from Ploiesti

Since you've probably have noticed my absence from the blogosphere in the past week, here's the answer : I've been off to Ploiesti for The National Romanian Olympics. No bright achievement, but hey , I had fun. Here are photos from the first days there ,

Iasi and nationals

Just came back on Saturday from Iasi , from the nationals and I'm proud to have scored 9,1 out of 10 points!! I was on the fortieth place, but I'm still happy ! Here are some photos from my happy trip <3

Iasi isn't the best town I've ever seen , but it has its things . It's the cultural center of Romania and it has a great park called Copou. Everything around it is called Copou : Copou Parking Lot, Copou Public Toilet and Copou Pizza Shop! But the park is probably one of the best parts of Iasi, it's so rich and romantic.
I didn't really get the time to take too many photos . We had so much fun , went to the mall , ate a lot , laughed, played truth or dare and saw a movie : "Love and other drugs". I have to admit that I cried when he started realizing how much he really wanted to help her. And Jake does look awesome !
The contest wasn't really hard , but I should have paid a little more attention . Well,next year's gonna be much more better! Can't wait !
